Lashes and brows! At first I bought it just for my eyelashes, but once I saw how well it worked I got a brown one for my brows as well. Here is a before during and after picture of my eyebrows. Because I'm so fair-skinned I only left it on my eyebrows for 5 minutes, worked out well! 520 STARS! I ve had my lashes tinted professionally for years before discovering this product. And it works just as good as what you get at the salon. I was able to tint my own, one set at a time without any getting into my eyes. Here s the trick though... take a q-tip with Vaseline and cover your external eye area beforehand, that way if something drips, in won t stain your skin. And watch your fingers, because it can stain those too. (Nail polish remover will get it off your fingers if applied quickly after contact) Get the color blue-black for the darkest color. And if you tint and may have missed a spot or if you want them darker, simply re-apply a second time, leaving on for 5 min instead of 10. If doing this solo, do one area at a time, such as, lower lash, then upper lash, then the other lower lash, etc. Will take about an hour, but the results will be better. And when doing the top lash, brush the product up, like putting on mascara, then close your eye and repeate by brushing it downward over the back of the top lashes, wait 10 min and rinse off. There are two applicators, a wand and a white stick. The stick will help you consentrate more product on the lashes. Don t be afraid to really get a lot on there. The more you coat the lashes with, the darker your lashes will be after you are done. It also lasts 2-3 weeks. Great product. 5Saving so much money! Looks just like it did when i had it done at the salon! Was paying $68 for brows and lashes every 4 weeks. So happy I can do this at home now.Dye is hard to mix, that's my only complaint. 5I love this Stuff What?! I love this Stuff!!! Where has this been all my life?! I just finished my application for the first time, and I'm 100% satisfied so far. I'll come back and update to see how long it lasts. I have long, light eyelashes and don't like to wear makeup everyday so I needed to find something that'll darken my eyelashes. I don't really understand how this product could get any negative reviews it was SO easy to use. Here's my experience with this product: 1. I mixed together the proper amounts together. The white mixing stick they give you isn't as bad as people claim it to be, unless you truly just can't work with it. 2. I applied It with my eyes opened. Put vasaline around my eyes and used a paper towel for my bottom lashes. I applied the solution with the wand, which keep in mind, the consistancy is slightly liquidy, not thick and waxy like mascara. After doing a few strokes with the wand, I tried the mixing stick and realized It was SO much better to work with. I was able to close my eyes and swipe from base to tip, open and swipe from base to tip. Using the white stick is much easier to apply to the bottom lashes too. So if anybody is having trouble with the wand, use the stick! 3. I let it sit for 30 minutes or more, and then placed a wet face cloth one eye at a time and cleansed the solution off. I didn't have any issues with the product getting into my eyes while washing off but i did get it into my eye when my finger slipped while applying and let me tell you it STUNG! 4. I love the results! I used black/blue.. I attached some photos. Hope my review helps! 5Completely ineffective After my long-term brow coloring product had changed and was no longer as effective, I decided to try this product. Wish I hadn t wasted my money. The coloring product is a paste and you activate it with some drops that are the consistency of water. The product does not mix effectively and it s difficult to work with. I used it on my very blonde brows per the instructions and you could not tell I even dyed them after the product was wiped off. Thinking it was operator error, I did it a couple more times after the next couple of days...same results. The remainder of the box went into the trash can. 1Definitely works!! Love this product! I have brown eyelashes, but the tips get really light. Also, my bottom lashes are all very light. I got the blue- black. I was worried thinking it would be blue, but it is not at all, it is just the deepest black they offer. The results were good! It doesn't look like I have mascara on or anything, just more defined lashes. 5Works great & is easy to DIY The blue-black color looks great on eyelashes. It appears black and not fake (I am fair skinned). But man! Be careful with your eyeBROWS!!! I thought I was just going to do my lashes, and not buy a seperate kit in Brown for my brows but then, I had the color mixed up and a little extra so..........I thought well, maybe if I just LIGHTLY brush my brows with it and leave it on for less time.....THEY WERE BLACK!!!! I've gotten used to them now but just be warned if you're not into the new trend of dark, obvious brows. (I aslo tried desperately to lighten them with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda but nope, they stayed black!)Also, note: don't follow the instructions to squeeze out an inch or even a centimeter of dye: it is unnecessary waste and the amount will not affect your end result. Squeeze out a pea size amount: that is all you need to cover both lashes and brows. Then your kit will go a lot further and you won't have to throw away extra mixed dye! 4Zero stars if an option. Assume product is expired or stored improperly. I think this is expired. I have experience with color as I was a managing cosmetologist. It should not look like it did coming from the tube. I still tried it 3 times as color has a long shelf life, unless stored improperly. It did not color. Waste of money. Waste of time. I'd give it zero stars if that was an option. 1and my lashes are pretty light - blonde at the tips PREFACE: My natural hair color is that sorta ashy dark blonde color (your classic blonde as a kid kind). I'm naturally fair skinned, and my lashes are pretty light - blonde at the tips, for sure.TIP 1 - COLOR: After reading reviews, I went with the "blue-black" (the darkest shade). Honestly, I think I should've gone with the regular black. The end result is fine, but if your lashes are lighter, just note that they won t look natural (then again, neither does mascara, but whatevs!)PREP: Don't skip the vasoline. The instructions don't really specify WHY you're doing this - it's to keep from dying your eyelids (which, even if you do, won't be super noticeable, but try not to).APPLICATIONTip 1: Keep a q-tip handy to wipe any mistakes.Tip 2: The mascara wand provided is kinda fat, and the dye solution, after mixed, kinda just globs on to it unevenly (in contrast to using mascara, where it is evenly saturated onto the wand). I recommend first applying the dye with the provided mascara wand to "generally cover" your lashes, and then using the white stir stick to sloooowwwly and methodically apply as much as you can to each lash. and then using the white stir stick to slowly and methodically apply to every lash.Tip 3: Be sure to look at your lashes from the top as you're dying them. Use the stir stick to carefully apply to the roots (just don t get it in your eye again, sloooow and methodical! And also, again, why the q-tip on hand will help to wipe any mistakes quickly!) 4Totally recommended for blond eyelashes, but only if you do it right. As many of you other fair skinned redheads know, our blond eyelashes make us look like two different people when we are or are not wearing mascara. I wear makeup for the majority of the day, so when I take it off, I don't really even feel like myself, because I look so different, and my confidence level definitely drops a little bit. If I could change one thing about myself, it would be my light eyelashes, so I decided to try doing that with the Brown/Black shade of this eyelash and brow tint kit. I tried it out last night and was a little frustrated with how difficult it was to mix the dye with the developer, and there were no clear instructions on what the resulting consistency of the paste should be. I followed the instructions and put those paper things under my eyes with vaseline (they got hard and uncomfortable within a minute and fell off within two), then I attempted to apply the horribly mixed, clumpy brown crap to my eyelashes with the mascara wand without getting it on my skin or in my eyes (failed that part miserably), and washed it off after ten minutes of wondering if I would go blind, because the little bit of dye that got in my eyes burned terribly.... of course, at this point, I realized that my upper eyelashes were barely darker than before and the color of my bottom lashes was completely unchanged. I thought about returning the product but ended up reading some reviews and found a few tips, so I decided to try again today. This time, I didn't use those paper under-eye things, cause they honestly made things harder the first time, I used way more developer in the mixture than the instructions called for, and I mixed the dye in a little ceramic dish for like 20 minutes using a metal cuticle pusher tool, which was super helpful, because I was able to smear out the clumps with the flat end. The result was a smooth, creamy paste, and SO much easier to apply. I did one eye at a time, so I could have at least one to keep open if the one I was working on started stinging/tearing up. I also gave up on not getting anything on my skin applied as much of the dye to my lashes as they could hold, then I wiped off whatever got on my skin with a wet q-tip. I let the dye sit on my lashes for 15 minutes. After washing it off, I saw a couple lashes that weren't as dark as the others, so I reapplied the dye to those lashes and washed it off after about 5 minutes, and then I used the exact same process for my other eye.Although it took a lot longer to do, the result was 100xs better than it was from my first attempt. Now, I actually recommend this product, but only if it is applied properly, and probably only if it is applied more than once for those of us with super light eyelashes. 4
